I started to paint and I tried to get a close-up so you could see the texture of the paint. It wasn’t the color I was going for, but I knew I had to create layers so the color was going to be covered up anyway. It’s supposed to have texture already in the paint so I thought it would be great to create a cement look. Dollar Tree Faux Cement BowlĪnd I had this paintthat I had received from Plaid last year as part of their Ambassador program. I had this clear plastic bowl from Dollar Tree that I picked up (honestly, I can’t remember when). So I decided to try my hand at recreating that Look for Less. They are gorgeous, but not for me at that price. The one below from Overstock is almost $300 (on sale no less!) Succulents are still in demand and now in cement bowls too. Yikes!Īnyways, I am sure you have seen the beautiful moss filled cement planters that are everyones’ farmhouse “must haves” right now. I never thought I’d say this, but my crafting items are looking sparse. However, today I am sharing another beautiful Dollar Tree DIY with items I already had in my stash. The hubby and I went out and picked up several things that we needed and worked on several projects while the kids were at my parents over the weekend. Our state is slowly opening back up and it was nice to see more people out and about over the weekend. Happy Monday!
